Sir. Loin, born Zachary Saitoti, is a Nairobi-based Open Format DJ, Producer, Storyteller, and Creative whose musical journey stretches from the underground rave culture of early-2000s Bristol to the evolving, deep, and electrifying bass-driven nightlife of Nairobi and Diani.

After returning to Nairobi in 2010, Sir. Loin became part of the city’s rapidly growing nightlife scene. Alongside DJ Sesi and DJ Panik, he co-founded the DJ crew Noise On Demand, carving out a reputation for bold, unpredictable sets across rooftops, open-air spaces, clubs, and livestreams. The crew became known for blurring genres, embracing chaos, and bringing serious bass energy into spaces that weren’t used to it.

An Afro-sensual sonic architect with a deliberately fluid sound, Sir. Loin draws from Drum & Bass, Dubstep, UK Funky, Lo-Fi, Bassline, Deep House, Afro-Tech, and Tech House. He curates immersive club nights, coastal gatherings, soul-deep festival sets, and genre-exploring mixes. His sets are built on feeling rather than formula - cinematic without being precious, aggressive without losing groove, and polished without ever feeling safe. Whether spinning at underground raves or beachfront brunch parties, expect a relentless, body-moving fusion of bass, rhythm, and pure sonic heat.

In recent years, his practice has expanded into music production, with releases rooted in lo-fi emotion, bass-driven energy, and electronic hybrids, alongside more experimental explorations. His broader creative ecosystem includes Ricochet (a cinematic DJ livestream series), Big Bad & Heavy (Nairobi’s bass-focused club night), Cosmic Currents (coastal sonic gatherings), and Shifteye Creative, his creative home base for photography, design, and curation.
